I would like to extend an invitation to the members of your organization to attend the 2008 International Show of the International Brangus Breeders Association during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in Houston, TX on Saturday March 8. We are expecting over 200 head of quality Brangus and Red Brangus entries for the show and believe it will be an excellent opportunity for you to evaluate the Brangus and Red Brangus genetics of the US. Immediately following the show is the Genetic Edge Sale. For the first time ever, the Genetic Edge Sale will include both Red and Black genetics, representing the very best that the breed has to offer.

We would also be honored for you to attend this year's IBBA Awards Banquet and Dance on Friday March 7. Texas Commissioner of Agriculture, Todd Staples, the TDA Coordinator for Livestock, Amanda Lyles, and a representative from the USDA will be joining us for the evening to provide insights on what is happening with respect to beef industry border and trade issues.
